First Day of School

Lucy started school yesterday. It was a big step for all of us!! It’s a little preschool near our home. It goes from 8-12 Sunday – Thursday. We are only having her go from 9-11. I am thankful they are flexible with us. She seems to really like it. Our main motivation was just that she was really missing her friends and really wanted to do it. We are glad for the social aspect and also for the Arabic, she will God willing, learn there.

That is going to be great for her to be out making some friends! I read this with Kate and she said, “I hope we get to go visit Lucy sometime soon!”

What a brave girl wanting to march off to school! I am excited for her. Can’t wait to hear how it goes! Emie made a list of all her “girlfriends” today. Who knows why?! But she put Lucy on the list and it was your Lucy because she put her last name, too! (and she finally remembered to add her cousin, Lucy, too!) Tell her that the girls miss her much!
Jaime – that is cute! Lucy has talked about your girls several times. We looked a while ago at the pic of Luke – I think the artist one and since then Lucy has got it in her head that Luke especially sent that picture to her- she keeps talking about the email Luke sent to her!

This is wonderful news! I am so happy for Lucy! Praying for you all. FYI: I’d love to talk (not sure what is the best way for this) with you all in a couple of weeks to discuss how my processing is going so far.
