Today instead of exercising- I just didn’t feel like doing it- I made gooey popcorn.
Now I have a stomach ache.
Today instead of exercising- I just didn’t feel like doing it- I made gooey popcorn.
Now I have a stomach ache.
Yesterday Dustin discovered it popping through- it’s about half way up.
Since we are talking about Elias I just have to say he’s the sweetest little boy! He smiles all the time and laughs and hardly cries. We just love him so much. And if you haven’t noticed he’s about as chubby as they come! I am one grateful Momma.

Well we just got rid of one of our cars- Penny. She was a 1991 Honda Civic named Penny because she was a nice coppery color! We got the car 2 years ago for a cheap price. It worked out well for us becuase we just needed a second car for Dustin to drive around the city so that I could get out if our other car if needed.
Well Lucy loved the car. She called it her clubhouse and would play in it for hours! If Dustin was working outside she would just sit in the back (we had the windows open of course!) and play.
When it was towed away (yes, towed) she cried. I had given her some warning b/c I knew she would take it hard. She cried every time I mentioned it! I said what did you like so much about Penny. She said, it’s loud and it’s stick. We needed a stick to keep that hatch back open! Pretty funny!
Lucy’s birthday landed on Easter today. She was thrilled about it. I have been meaning to blog about activities we have done to think about Christ- His death and resurrection. I will have to share more about that this week. For now I will just post some b-day pics.

They played a game – put a jewel sticker on the crown while blindfolded. Lucy wouldn’t do it but later said it was the highlight of her party. Dustin asked why and she said because she was proud. Funny.

We did an egg hunt. The kids loved it. I was so glad it was such a nice day!

Dustin was doing airplanes with the kids.

When I saw this the airplanes ended!

We opted for a much safer game of duck, duck, goose.

Here is one from this morning. I can’t believe our little girl is 4! We love her and are so grateful to God for her.
She told Dustin’s sister today now that I’m 4 I can iron. I don’t know about that!
Our family is going to take part in a fundraising effort for New Life Family Services, a pregnancy crisis center in the Twin Cities. Please check out my fundraising page and pray about giving to this important ministry.
Their goal is birth for the little ones, rebirth for their mothers and fathers. That is something I’m very excited about! And I’m so glad that our whole family can take part and what a fun way to be able to give. If you would like to join us in the walk it’s Saturday, May 16th. Thanks for considering!
