Christmas Traditions

Posted by: Kellie on: December 13, 2008

My favorite Christmas tradition that Dustin established when we were engaged is the Shramek Family Christmas Celebration.  Basically he makes a bulliten and we have our own little Christmas service.  We usually have candles glowing and a fire burning (if possible).  Then we sing songs, pray and read some Scriptures together.  Lucy’s first Christmas (she was 9 months old)- she applauded the Savior’s birth- that was all she could do!  Last year she read a verse.   I’m not sure what we will do this year but I am looking forward to it.

What are your favorite Christmas traditions?

You guys should act out the nativity story with the 4 of you! How fun would that be? Everyone gets multiple roles. I don’t know if I have a favorite Christmas tradition outside of leaving the cold of Minnesota and heading to sunny CA. Except for this year.

What will Eli do this year?? Smile with contentment? Eat with vigor? Goo with joy?

Marc- I was thinking of the goo with joy. What should we have the kids do at mom’s and dad’s house for a “mini” play or something?

Eli could be baby Jesus this year, he wouldn’t crawl away like baby Jesus Zoe did last year! :)

next year we will have a new baby Jesus but she will probably crawl away too!:)

We do need a play….we need to plan that out!

I loved looking at the video!

I love your new set up!!

I like the new look, too! We miss you guys at IBC! Sohpia S. was baby Jesus last night – could have used Elias! Our new pastor is fantastic! Hope Christmas is wonderful for you all! Say hey to Dustin!
