Today is Lucy’s birthday. I will post pictures later and tell about the party. But I just have to share a few funny things that have already happened- and it’s only 7:30! When I went and got her out of bed of course I said, “Happy Birthday!” She wondered where is it, is it in here? Guess she doesn’t really get the concept of what a birthday is yet. Then I told her you are 3 now. She was not happy about that at all. She wimpered and said but I still want to be two. First I tried to convince her it was better to be 3 – with the bait of RyRy is 3. That didn’t work. So I said okay you can pretend you are 2. Her response, “But I want to be the real 2!” I can make a lot of birthday wishes come true but not much I can do about that!

Happy birthday Luc! Sure can’t wait to see those pics of ur party, and talking with you this morning was fun! I miss you and LOVE you very very much!
Oh, and no worries about not being 2. Before long you’ll hardly be able to wait for your next birthday to say ur even older…and then well…the birthdays will start coming too quickly again.

Happy Birthday Lucy! It is so funny; Mackenzie had the same reaction from two to three. She said she still wanted to be little. Three must seem very big in their eyes!
I wish we could see Lucy; she is adorable. You do a great job with posting Kellie; now if I could only learn from you!
I hope Lucy keeps on enjoying her build a bear. Mackenzie went for her fifth birthday and after the first week, her cheetah Katie hangs out alone in the girls’ room quite a bit. She wanted to use all her birthday money on it too!! Katie is quite pink and gaudy too.
