Lucy has really been into dance parties. I like it b/c it’s good exercise. We got this fun cd that she really likes.

  1. Is that Lucy’s big girl bed? (: i haven’t seen her room since the crib days.
You look cute, Kel, even in a bathrobe.

  2. No that is the office. She is still in her crib! Soon we will move her into a big girl bed!

  3. nothing like caging them in for as long as possible. (: at least she is light! Malachi was like nearing 40 lbs and I was still heave hoeing him over the edge of the crib and then letting him free fall down to the mattress. ha ha. then i had finally had it and purchased the a toddler bed for him from the garage sale across the street. I never used one for Claira but if you can find one, they are the cutest things. I would use one again for the next kid.

  4. The smile on Lucy’s face in the first picture is priceless, she looks like she’s having the best time. Beach parties and dance parties, does this girl ever sleep?

  7. I got rid of the crib early…I had Emie out at somewhere between 18-20 months and Lily out before 2. For some reason the crib annoyed me! My girls were both chubber babies, though, so lifting them out was a chore! ( no free falling, though!!) I guess, though, at that age it was a little annoying having to say over and over, “get back in your bed!”
both Doug and I just looked at your blog and commented at what great hair Lucy has! It’s beautiful! And Lea is right, you do look cute in your bathrobe!!!!

  8. Just a comment on Jaime’s comment (are you allowed to do that? ha) Anyway, we watched Lucy this last weekend and that hair is not only golden spun, it is soft as ever and thick!! Her pony tail is thicker than mine, I kid you not.

  9. I’m so jel-dog for myself and for my girls. All 3 of our hair put together is probably still thinner than Lucy’s!!!

  11. Jamie I was the same way as you about the crib! I could harldy wait to take it down after so long. I think I may have had jared, Lannie and Mitch in a big bed together by the time Mitch was one! kidding! they were 12,14 and 16!!

  12. oh yeah and on Lucy’s hair it is so thick and make such cute pig tails except for when Kellie gets them in so tight that Lucy has tears running down her face and thinks her ear hurts because her scalp is being pulled so tight her eardums are about to burst!(:

  13. Since I am getting so much grief on the crib thing I just have to say my sister’s son, Ryan, is still in the crib and he’s 3 1/2! So why don’t you throw some grief her way!

  14. Any Jaime I do remember your puny ponytails but I also remember your puny waist!! So I wouldn’t be to “jel-dog”!

  15. Ryan will be in that crib until he can run the screw gun to take it down himself.
